This Mid-Century Modern Compact sofa was designed by the iconic American husband-and-wife design team Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1954. The Compact model was originally created for the living room in their Pacific Palisades home. This 3 seat sofa features a minimal and crisp profile with horizontal foam pads newly upholstered in a soft light gray tweed on a steel frame that sits atop chrome-plated tubular steel legs. It retains the black Herman Miller label circa 1990's.
