This early Jens Risom model 37 loveseat sofa for Knoll is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern design. The fully upholstered sofa features a high back with rounded edges and recessed arms that follow the angle of the tapered splayed stained birch legs. It is newly upholstered in a soft to the touch, wheat colored braided stripe woven linen that compliments the silhouette of the loveseat wonderfully.
The prolific Danish designer Jens Risom is synonymous with the American Mid-Century Modern design movement. He worked with Hans Knoll after he emigrated to the United States in the 40s.
