This Mid-Century Modern flip-top dining console table was designed by the popular American designer Harvey Probber during the 1960s. This table is true to Probber's aesthetic - simple, elegant, and versatile. The base is made of black lacquered mahogany and the top is a lovely book matched rosewood. Probber also used hardware in his designs to elevate them. In this design, he created the flip-top dining table to seat six people and when the top is closed it doubles as a console table 20" in depth.
