Mid-century modern, slipper loveseat designed by the British architect and furniture designer T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for the Widdicomb Furniture Company features a black lacquered walnut wood frame with elegant splayed legs complimented by luxurious, short pile, cream mohair upholstery.
T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings (1905-1976) produced a line of modernist furniture for Widdicomb from 1943 to 1956. Robsjohn-Gibbings took his inspiration from ancient Greece which is evident in the simple lines and symmetry of his designs.
